Crest riders are always up for some hills. Especially in the winter when the efforts up the inclines keep you warm. One of the club midweek groups makes occasional forays across to the Chilterns. We do a bracing figure of eight circuit guided by Nick Freilich of the Giant Camden bike shop http://www.giant-camden.co.uk/en-GB/.

The climbs include Toms Hill, Ivinghoe Beacon,and Darkes Hill with a bonus descent of Bison Hill at Whipsnade. The Cresties in the picture below are about to set off for the second stage of the ride having enjoyed a café stop at an open air eatery by the Ashridge Monument.
